How to Stencil a Logo Cleanly
Prepare the surface
Start with a clean, dry, smooth surface. Dust and grease stop the stencil from lying flat.
Hold it flat
Tape the stencil down or use an adhesive stencil so it cannot shift or lift at the edges.
Use light coats
Several light coats of paint give much sharper edges than one heavy coat, which can bleed under the stencil.
Lift carefully
Peel the stencil away slowly while the paint is still slightly wet for the cleanest edge.
